CBD: What's Your Method?

When determining the best method of taking CBD, it can be hard to decide which CBD products would be best for you. One of the first things you need to consider is what type of ailment are you are trying to combat? Is it physical? Is it mental? From there, you need to take into account the severity of the issue or condition. Are you looking for immediate relief or is it more for maintenance and part of your daily health routine? While some people might say that one method is better than another, it is entirely up to personal preference. There are four main methods of taking CBD — sublingual CBD, CBD edibles, topical CBD, and CBD inhalation. How you choose to take your CBD is entirely up to you.

Administering CBD sublingually is one of the most effective and accurate methods. If you’re not aware, what you do is take the tincture dropper, fill it up with CBD oil, drip the oil under your tongue and let it remain there for 60-90 seconds. This method is so effective because the cannabinoids in the oil are absorbed through the sublingual gland (underneath your tongue) and directly enters your bloodstream. You might be wondering how this method differs from CBD edibles since both are taken via mouth. Well, the difference is how the cannabinoids bypass the digestive system so effects are faster and more concentrated. With that being said, sublingual administration is great, but if you’re looking for a more discreet way to take your CBD or you simply don’t like the natural taste of the hemp oil, CBD edibles are a great option.

Did you know that there are thousands of cannabinoid receptors throughout your body and that includes in your skin? To combat sore muscles, achy joints, and various skin conditions, applying CBD topically is your best bet. You can either use a CBD cream/ointment or you can even apply the oil from a tincture directly on your skin. Looking for faster relief? Inhalation of CBD products is the fastest way to administer effects because the CBD goes directly to the brain. Inhalation of CBD is best for mental conditions as well as a variety of physical conditions.

There is no right or wrong way to take CBD, but these four methods prove to be the most effective. At the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference. What’s your favorite method of taking CBD?
